Advisors Next Door Ltd. (AND) is a multi-disciplinary consulting firm that operates in the environmental management, business development and financial services sector. The Environmental Services Division of AND is offering four (4) selected candidates the chance to develop their knowledge skills and network in the environmental sector through an intensive 8 week virtual internship Starting on the 7th of June. This is an unpaid internship.

 

"The world of work may not tell you the things you need to know, but it will treat you as though you have already been told.", is the guiding philosophy that underpins this programme. Each intern would be paired with a Programme Assistant who serves as a "big brother/big sister" for the duration of the internship. Each duo will produce a capstone product that adds value to the environmental sector and will be published to our website. The selected candidates will also benefit from AND's robust network of professionals who will guide the interns through 4 phases of development:

1. Transitioning from School to work.

2. Understanding the Environmental Sector of Trinidad and Tobago.

3. Building High-value skills for success in the Environmental Sector

4. Networking with Environmental Sector Professionals. 

 

This programme is ideally suited for 2nd Year students who have a special interest in working in the environmental sector or getting into business consulting. Degrees that have traditionally intersected well with environmental services include, but are not limited to, natural sciences, law, international relations, engineering, computer studies, gender studies and agriculture. Candidates across all departments and fields of study will be given equal opportunity for selection.
